Using this macro will cast Detoxon your mouseovertarget, if they are a friendly player and they are not dead. Otherwise, itwill cast Detox on your current target.

This macro causes Chi Wave to target you for the initial heal, andif you hold down Ctrl, it will instead heal your current target (ordamage them if they are hostile).

This macro allows you to cast Spear Hand Strike on your mouseovertarget, or on your current target if there is not a valid mouseover.

With this macro, you can choose to more conveniently cast Bonedust Brewin two different ways. By default, it will make your Bonedust Brew be cast at thelocation of your mouse cursor without having to use an additional click to confirm.If you choose to hold down Alt, it will instead cast the ability directlyat your feet. You can even make use of an additional modifier such as Ctrlto replicate the regular effect, if you would like.

• /cancelaura Blessing of Protection

This macro is very useful to have, as it allows you to cancel a Blessing of Protection that may have been cast on you. This is importantbecause while you are under the effect of Blessing of Protection, enemies willnot attack you and will instead attack the next person on their threat list, suchas a DPS. You may also wish to add a variety of heal-over-time or other defensivecooldowns supplied by other players to this macro if you are in a scenario whereyou are intending to be defeated, such as when countering a specific raid mechanic.

This macro allows you to use your Provoke ability in a variety ofways. First, it will taunt whatever you are mousing over, if anything.Otherwise, it will taunt your current target. If you use the modifier key— in this case, alt — it will taunt your (talented) Black Ox Statueif it is out and then return you to your previous target. Be warned that thismacro will not always work correctly if a Black Ox Statue from another playeris present, as there is no way to have a macro know which statue is yours.

If you prefer a different modifier button, replace "alt" with "shift" or"ctrl".

This macro will automatically make use of the Double Barrel PvPTalent if you have it selected and cast it at the same time as your Keg Smashwhenever the ability is off-cooldown. It will still work even if you do not havethis PvP Talent selected and is useful if you would just like to benefit fromits passive damage increase and stun effect every 45 seconds while out in theworld.

Boss mods are addons that warn you about boss abilities and give youlive advice on how to handle some mechanics. We strongly recommend you toget one such addon. At Icy Veins, we mostly useDeadly Boss Mods,the most popular boss mod. A good alternative isBig Wigs.

GTFO is a lightweightaddon that notifies you when you are standing in harmful effects or when youare making other such mistakes. It is very useful, even if your boss mod isalready alerting you of such things.

Parrot andMik's Scrolling Battle Text are highlycustomisable addons for displaying floating battle text while in combat (incomingheals, damage of your spells, etc.). They both work very well by default.

WeakAuras is anextremely useful addon that allows you to have visual effects on your screen,helping you track your buffs, debuffs and cooldowns. It is highly customisableand it can make it much, much easier to keep track of your procs and play yourspec more proficiently. It can also be used for a variety of otherfunctions.

The best place to find WeakAuras to use is Wago.io.See their Brewmaster Monk sectionfor a variety of auras to suit your needs. If you are looking for a simplebar to track your Stagger, my ownaura provides all the information you need, and I also have one formonitoring the Health of your Summon Black Ox Statue. There are many Brewmaster WeakAura groups that showcooldowns, Energy, potential healing, and more on Wago so you should be able tofind one you like.

Recount is awell known addon that most people use for displaying current DPS or HPS(Healing Per Second). This add-on is not really lightweight, and provides avery high amount of information (and it can sometimes cause issues withperformance). It is generally a good option to use Recount for checking what youtake damage from and if the share of damage/healing you do with each of yourabilities is similar to that of other players of your class.

An alternative to Recount (similar in function, so the choice is personalpreference) is Details!.

A lightweight alternative to Recount and Details! is Skada Damage Meter.

ElvUI comes with decent raid frames. The only real reason for usingGrid andGridClickSetsis if you want to be able to decurse raid or party members by rightclicking their frame in the raid of party frame. If you choose to go withGrid, then you might want to also useGridStatusRaidDebuff.
